Step 5: Verify the Recovery Phrase

After writing down the 24-word phrase, the device will ask you to confirm it in order. This ensures accuracy and prevents losing access later.

Store your recovery sheet in a secure physical location. Consider a fireproof safe or metal backup plate for added protection.

Step 6: Install Apps & Add Accounts in Ledger Live

Once setup is complete, open Ledger Live and:

Navigate to My Ledger

Install the apps for the cryptocurrencies you want to manage

Add accounts to view balances and perform transactions
